This is the assignment that was posted on my Twitter feed:
In the computer lab (tues g block & thurs f block), review the major papers you have written so far this year. Answer the following questions in essay format:
1. What common thematic threads have you been curious about this year? What ideas from the books we have studied stand out in your papers? (cite at least two papers)
2. What have you struggled with in terms of writing? Look back over the comments on at least two papers and identify areas that you need to work on.
3. How has your writing improved this year? Cite at least two papers.
4. Which paper represents your best work so far? What are you proud of? How did you pull it off? If you haven't yet produced your best work then explain what has stood in your way.
Print out at least three of your papers, with my comments, (and/or include your in class essays) and put them in your writing file with your typed reflection.
Due in your file by Friday 4/13. If you will be absent due to travel, please bring in your reflection and your printed essay on Monday 4/23.
