Day of Remembrance. Wed 4/11/12

We will be attending the following lectures in the Lecture Hall on Wednesday. I will be taking attendance for both FIRE & ICE:

G Block: A student at BC's theological school of Rwandan descent. He will be speaking of the horrors surrounding the Rwandan genocide and subsequent consequences of it.

F block: Albert Movsesian, an active member in the Armenian community as well as on the board of directors at the Armenian museum in Watertown. Mr.Movsesian has been to many high schools throughout the region discussing the Armenian Genocide. He brings a fresh personal perspective to a historical event. (Students take first lunch)

HW: Due Thursday--
From your notes on today's presentations, write a personal reaction to either of the speakers. One page minimum, typed. If you want to write about both speakers, then you have to write one page on each. Include as many specifics as possible.

Also, please remember to buy your copy of A Thousand Splendid Suns

ICE will be in Cutler computer lab on Thursday to work on the Writing File Reflection (which can be found on my Twitter feed here: )

FIRE and ICE will be in the Goldrick Lab to complete the Writing File Reflection on Friday.
