This assignment is a one-time deal meant to give you a chance to raise your score on your 1984 Test. If your paper is excellent, you will receive no more than 8 points towards your score on that test. If your paper is good, you will receive 6. If it is less than good, or as they would say in Oceania, "ungood", you will receive no more than 3 points.
Watch EITHER of the following two films:
1. "V for Vendetta"
2. "Children of Men"
Write a 1-2 page comparing and contrasting the film's message to Orwell's message in 1984. What similarities do you see in the society depicted in the film to the society in 1984?
